Aliens Guide to TDC Brisbane

Created in response to my experience at The Design Conference Brisbane, An Alien’s Guide to TDC explores the imposter syndrome, anxiety and self-doubt that can come with entering unfamiliar creative spaces. The project began as a hand-drawn comic before developing into a frame-by-frame animation, combining my illustration style, custom typeface Comic Funk and an original production. Produced over a month between other projects, the process became a crash course in adapting static illustrations for movement, refining pacing and using animation to bring a personal story to life.
